First Light Home Care is looking for a dependable, compassionate caregiver to assist a sweet couple in their home in the Nashville area.

👩 Wife: Early-onset Alzheimer's but still very independent. She loves to cook and is a gourmet chef, especially Mediterranean-style meals! She enjoys having someone help her chop, prepare meals, and follow her recipes.

👨 Husband: Parkinson's disease and balance difficulties. He is independent but moves slowly and uses his walker at all times.

✨ Your day will include:

• Medication reminders

• Meal preparation & cooking alongside the wife

• Encouraging hydration

• Light housekeeping & laundry

• Making the bed/checking linens

• Grocery delivery assistance

• Encouraging walking/exercises

• Companionship and conversation

• Occasional errands or accompanying to appointments

• Helping with trash and mail

❤️ This is primarily a supportive/companion care position. Both clients are still quite independent, and the caregiver should be comfortable encouraging independence while providing assistance when needed.

🏡 The home has two stair lifts.
