About our Team:

We're seeking a dynamic leader to manage our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) operations team and drive the transformation of our Azure-based cloud operations. This team supports multiple large product portfolios and plays a critical role in our business success. As part of the Lexis Nexis technology organization, you'll work with cutting-edge tools and emerging technologies to evolve our solutions and deliver meaningful impact across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Development:
  
  Manage and mentor a team of 10 SREs. Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and operational excellence. Develop and execute training plans to support career growth and technical advancement.
• Infrastructure & Automation:
  
  Lead implementation of Azure infrastructure using Terraform
  , Kubernetes
  , and Nomad
  . Drive automation initiatives using Ansible and other modern tooling. Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions to ensure efficient and secure deployments.
• Monitoring & Reliability:
  
  Ensure high availability and performance of hosted applications. Implement and maintain observability solutions using Grafana and Open Telemetry
  . Establish and refine alerting strategies to proactively address system issues.
• Security & Compliance:
  
  Ensure alignment with Lexis Nexis SLAs and Information Security requirements. Manage secrets securely using Vault
  . Integrate and oversee scanning tools such as Snyk
  , Wiz
  , Qualys
  , and Microsoft Defender
  . Collaborate with Info Sec and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness and security posture.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing SRE or Dev Ops teams in a cloud-native environment.
• Deep expertise in Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $136,100 - $252,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
