As a QA Engineer at Quore, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications, mobile applications (iOS & Android), and APIs. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and the QA Team Lead to execute test plans, identify defects early, and ensure our releases meet the high standards expected by hospitality teams worldwide.
This role is a hybrid role and will work in-person 4 days a week. We kindly ask that only candidates who are willing and able to work in-person at our Franklin, TN office apply for this position.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile (iOS/Android), and API‑based applications.
- Validate new features, bug fixes, and releases against documented requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and regression test suites under the guidance of the QA Team Lead.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and integration testing.
- Identify, reproduce, and clearly document defects, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, logs, and environment details.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to clarify expected behavior and verify fixes.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness activities.
- Contribute to automated test coverage by writing tests within established frameworks.
- Help ensure quality standards and testing best practices defined by the QA Lead are followed across all projects.
- 2+ years of experience in a QA, software testing, or quality engineering role.
- Hands‑on experience testing web applications and APIs.
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
- Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Postman, or similar.
- An understanding of software testing methodologies (regression, smoke, UAT, exploratory, etc.).
- Basic experience with SQL (MySQL, Postgre
SQL) for validating data. - Experience with Git and version control workflows (Bitbucket, Git Hub, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with developers, product owners, and QA leadership.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience testing multi‑tenant SaaS platforms or enterprise B2B applications.
- Experience with Page Object Model or similar test design patterns
