Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate, customer‑focused, innovative, consultative, collaborative architect who will drive customer success with high‑quality architectural solutions. You will define Oracle best practice, engage with teams worldwide, and build trusted relationships.
What You’ll DoLead virtual teams focused on design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing of product(s) from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities to ensure timely project completion. Support field teams to help customers deploy Oracle products and services. Participate in the Architecture Community, contributing reference architectures and staying current with emerging technologies.
Responsibilities- Understand complex systems and map them to cloud architectures and solutions.
- Possess general knowledge of cloud architecture and hybrid on‑premise/cloud designs.
- Grasp all technical aspects of a cloud solution including networking, security, resilience, and connectivity.
- Communicate and present to all levels of management.
- Build virtual teams to deliver broad‑based architecture deliverables.
- Engage and influence senior leaders.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake and Databricks product offerings.
- Broad knowledge of IT systems and applications.
- Experience defining and enabling best practice in cloud environments.
- Problem‑solving skills with abstraction of complex problems.
- Knowledge of Oracle database and related technologies (Data Guard, RAC, etc.).
- Architecting high‑availability solutions.
- Experience upgrading/migrating complex multi‑tier systems.
- Building disaster recovery and failover capabilities.
- Hands‑on cloud deployment experience; preference for Oracle OCI.
- Basic developer skills in Java, Python, or similar, plus SQL and PL/SQL.
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of software engineering or related experience.
U.S. based or U.S. client‑facing roles may require compliance with immunization and drug‑testing requirements.
Compensation Range (US): $139,400 – $291,800 per year (eligible for bonus, equity, compensation deferral).
