Platform Engineer (Enterprise Shared Services)
Contract - 12 months+
Role PurposeDesigns, builds, and operates the enterprise data platform that enables ingestion, certification, governance, marketplace access, analytics, and AI at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Build and operate shared data ingestion and processing frameworks
- Implement platform standards (bronze/silver/gold patterns)
- Enable catalog, lineage, marketplace, and access workflows
- Automate certification, quality checks, and masking enforcement
- Manage platform CI/CD, environments, and reliability
- Support onboarding of new domains and data products
- Cloud and platform engineering
- Data platform architecture
- Automation and infrastructure‑as‑code
- CI/CD and Data Ops practices
- Familiarity with metadata, lineage, and access patterns
- Platform reliability and scalability
- Reusable frameworks and patterns
- Tool integrations and configurations
- “Paved road” for domains
- Business logic
- Dashboards, AI models, or apps
- Domain prioritization decisions
- Platform architecture and standards
- Shared ingestion and certification pipelines
- Marketplace and catalog enablement
- Automated access and governance controls
- High platform reuse across domains
- Minimal manual intervention
- Predictable onboarding of new datasets and domains
- Low operational risk
