Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in related field and 10 years related experience.
Job DescriptionProvides consultation for three-tier client/server health care applications. A system architect delivers deep knowledge in one of the following areas of specialization: AIX, Open VMS, Desktop, Win 2000, WinNT, Data Network, Oracle DBA and standard applications. This family is responsible for performing technical planning, software systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness for total software systems.
Total software system product may include: concept design, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Monitors interface project progress to assess and manage project risk and ensure quality assurance.
- Provides high level solution functionality and troubleshooting support to clients installing Cerner application software.
- Oversees interface projects by assisting and mentoring associates working with interfaces.
- Demonstrates continuous professional and technical development.
- Maintains integrity of interface architecture.
- Proficient at managing and prioritizing/managing concurrent tasks.
- Understands dependencies and how individual contributions impact larger vision picture.
- Performs other responsibilities as needed.
- Works in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures. Understands personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of interface, integration, and Common Process (Core) expertise.
- Takes appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of role.
- Able to function autonomously in role on all engagements.
- Controls project scope and drives project tasks independently.
- Codes and designs quality of custom interfaces.
