We are seeking a Lead Data Architect to drive our database strategy across all products and ensure robust, scalable data infrastructure that supports clinical research and patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and manage the organization’s data infrastructure; create and maintain documentation for database architecture, procedures, and standards.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models; manage data architecture including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Develop data mapping rules to transform data from source to target systems ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Design and implement data integration processes; ensure data quality, security, and accessibility.
  • Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Evaluate and recommend data management technologies; advise on AI model integration with data infrastructures (cloud-native and legacy systems).
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and IT professionals to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
  • Influence projects related to data strategy, data quality, data architecture, and data management best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data requirements collection, data modeling, design, development, model validation, and data integration in modern data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Critical

    Skills:

    10+ years in database engineering/management; strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Dev Ops, SDLC, CI/CD, Git Hub); 7+ years working with data sources and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, cloud databases); cloud technologies (Azure, AWS); data warehousing concepts; SQL proficiency; experience with Linux/Unix/Windows.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with modern cloud-native database solutions; database migration tools and zero-downtime strategies; infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) for database deployment.
  • Ability to design scalable architectures for microservices and distributed systems.
  • Experience with patterns such as CQRS, event sourcing, and sharding; data modeling for relational and No

    SQL databases.
