This opportunity is for a Level 2 IT Support Technician to provide remote and on-site technical support across a diverse client base. The role involves troubleshooting networks, servers, and IT infrastructure, with regular travel to client sites in the Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee areas as needed.

• Remote & On-Site IT Support:
  Provide Level 2 troubleshooting and support for client environments, including network, server, and workstation issues.
• Network Troubleshooting:
  Diagnose and resolve network-related issues such as connectivity problems, routing issues, and configuration errors (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Server Management:
  Assist in the management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, and other core server applications.
• Workstation Support:
  Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues on end-user workstations (Windows, macOS, and possibly Linux).
• Incident Management:
  Manage and elevate tickets within the service management platform (e.g., Connect Wise, Service Now, or similar), ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM):
  Use RMM tools to monitor client systems, ensuring systems are up-to-date, secure, and functioning properly.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery:
  Ensure clients' data is securely backed up and assist with disaster recovery tasks when necessary.
• Client Communication:
  Maintain professional communication with clients regarding the status of issues, next steps, and resolution timelines.
• On-Site Visits:
  Travel to client locations in the Memphis and Jackson, TN area to provide on-site support as needed

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2-3 years of hands‑on experience in IT support, including troubleshooting of networks, servers, and endpoints.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and related network protocols.
• Experience with Windows Server (2012/2016/2019), Active Directory, and Office 365 environments.
• Familiarity with VMware or Hyper‑V, as well as basic virtualization and cloud concepts.
• Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery practices.
• Proficient with RMM and PSA tools (Connect Wise, Datto, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
• CompTIA Network+ or A+
• Microsoft Certified:
  Windows Server or Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., MCSA, MS‑100)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to travel to client sites within the Memphis and Jackson area.
• Additional Requirements:
• Must have reliable transportation for client visits.
• Ability to work remotely, but travel to on‑site locations when necessary.

• $55,000 - $65,000 Base Salary
