Select Account Manager Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Select Account Manager to support a high-volume portfolio of small commercial insurance accounts. This role is responsible for providing efficient and accurate account service, managing renewals, processing policy transactions, and supporting strong client retention.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial insurance accounts.

• Respond promptly to client requests, process account changes, and assist with resolving service-related issues.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and consistent service.

• Address billing inquiries and assist with resolving billing-related issues.

• Manage the renewal process from initiation through completion while following established timelines and procedures.

• Prepare renewal documentation and review coverage information with clients as needed.

• Coordinate with internal team members on accounts requiring additional market review.

• Prepare proposals, coverage comparisons, and recommendations as appropriate.

• Process endorsements, certificates, audits, policy changes, and other account-related transactions.

• Review policies and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain accurate and complete account documentation within AMS
  360.

• Manage a high-volume workload while meeting established service standards and deadlines.

• Prioritize tasks effectively and maintain organized account records and workflows.

• Collaborate with account management support staff to delegate tasks and promote workflow efficiency.

• Escalate complex account or service issues to appropriate leadership when necessary.

• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to support client needs.

• Contribute to client retention, service quality, processing accuracy, and overall team performance.

• 2–5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience, preferably supporting small commercial accounts.

• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

• Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong communication, client service, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively within established processes and standardized workflows.

• Experience with AMS
  360 or similar agency management software preferred.

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually.
