- Negotiate competitive pricing and manage assigned commodities to support cost‑reduction goals.
- Identify and develop suppliers to meet current and future production requirements while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Analyze supplier options and select the most competitive sources for each commodity.
- Manage contracts and purchasing records, including purchase orders, supplier files, and pricing documentation.
- Coordinate cross‑department activities to maintain uninterrupted part supply and drive ongoing cost‑reduction initiatives.
- 3-5 years of purchasing/procurement experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business Management, Engineering, or similar.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to work on‑site in Franklin, TN.
- Strong purchasing skills with solid contract negotiation experience.
- Clear communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrates initiative, integrity, and diplomacy in complex situations.
- Skilled in drafting and negotiating well‑structured contracts for goods and services.
