Responsibilities

The Resource Operations Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing both field labor resources and tools, equipment, and materials across all construction projects. This role ensures the right people and assets are available, tracked, maintained, and deployed efficiently to support safe, on-time project execution.

  • High school diploma required;
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction operations, resource planning, logistics, tool/yard, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows, labor coordination, and equipment management.
  • Experience with inventory, asset tracking, or workforce planning systems.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be available to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Experience managing yard/tool operations preferred.
  • Forklift or equipment operation certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Qualifications

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

  • Plan, schedule, and allocate field labor across active and upcoming projects.
  • Monitor labor utilization and adjust assignments to support productivity and schedules.
  • Coordinate onboarding, transfers, and demobilization of field personnel.
  • Identify and resolve labor shortages, conflicts, or overages.
  • Oversee issuance, return, and tracking of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain accurate asset and inventory records in company systems.
  • Inspect tools and equipment for safety, damage, and compliance; coordinate repair or replacement.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are job-ready prior to deployment.
  • Track asset utilization and identify trends in loss, damage, or inefficiency.
  • Coordinate procurement and replenishment of tools, materials, and consumables.
  • Support audits, reconciliations, and reporting for operations and finance.
  • Plan, organize, and maintain a clean, safe, and secure laydown yard.
  • Manage receiving, labeling, storage, staging, and deployment of materials, trailers, and equipment.
  • Coordinate loading/unloading and transportation logistics to project sites.
