Responsibilities

The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned projects. The role supports the management of overall project direction, completion, and financial outcomes. The Assistant Project Manager works under supervision, assists in managing and coordinating on-site staff, and gathers and distributes information. The position requires flexibility, adaptability, strong time management, communication, and client service skills.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience creating documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence on issues related to contract notification provisions.
  • 5+ years reading and understanding construction plans, drawings, and the associated technical specifications; able to outline specifications required for submission to clients and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved.
  • 5+ years preparing subcontract scopes and contracts.
  • 3+ years of experience with project closeout.
  • 2+ years working with cost control systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
