Race Team & Car Collection Manager

A private family in Franklin, Tennessee runs a competitive race program and a serious car collection. They need a department manager to run it all!

Responsibilities:

• Overall leadership and strategic direction of the race team and collection
• Lead and develop mechanics, technicians, and support staff
• Oversee maintenance, transportation, safety, and readiness of all vehicles
• Manage budgets, forecasts, capital expenditures, and vendors
• Ensure DOT, environmental, and safety compliance

Required:

• Minimum 3 years in race and car fleet team management, motorsports operations, or automotive maintenance
• Required:
  
  Drag racing experience (preferably NHRA Stock / Super Stock)
• Classic car and engine experience
• Race crew experience, or a driver yourself
• Budget and vendor management experience

Preferred: Bachelor's degree, professional motorsports support experience, ASE Master Technician certification, DOT knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in garage, shop, warehouse, and outdoor environments
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and inspect vehicles for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Availability to travel and support racing events as needed
• Flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
