The Reliability Specialist is responsible for developing, improving, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs for industrial equipment in order to extend asset life and improve overall equipment.

• Know and comply at all times with applicable quality and food safety standards
  , occupational health and safety regulations
  , and company policies
  ;
• Organize and plan all activities related to improving equipment reliability
  ;
• Investigate and understand the root causes of equipment failures in collaboration with operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel;
• Add to and update preventive maintenance procedures in the existing ERP system
  , in coordination with the maintenance department;
• Support maintenance technicians during interventions to optimize corrective actions;
• Support the plant’s technical team in continuous improvement projects (5S, Kaizen, SMED);
• Analyze and quantify equipment downtime costs
  , and estimate budgets for equipment improvement or replacement;
• Document and classify all equipment-related information in the ERP system and in hard-copy format;
• Support the integration of equipment for plant expansion and capital projects;
• Stay current with emerging technologies related to reliability
  ;
• Integrate and promote LEAN standards and methodologies
  ;
• Actively contribute to the development and deployment of reliability best practices among plant personnel.
