Operations Manager

DSJ Global is partnered with a well‑established food manufacturing organization operating within a regulated, process‑driven environment. The company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day production activities at a key manufacturing site in the Memphis, TN region. This role will play an integral part in driving plant performance, developing leadership capability, and ensuring strong standards across safety, quality, and operational execution.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for:

• Providing daily operational leadership for production teams within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Leading, developing, and supporting supervisors and frontline staff
• Managing core production functions including staffing, scheduling, equipment oversight, cost control, and KPI achievement
• Analyzing operational data to identify efficiency improvements, cost‑reduction opportunities, and process enhancements
• Championing a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement
• Partnering with cross‑functional teams across Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, and HR
• Supporting capital planning, budgeting, and operational investment decisions
• Monitoring plant performance metrics and implementing corrective actions where needed

The ideal Operations Manager will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience (food/CPG/process industries preferred)
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a strong presence on the production floor
• Knowledge of safety programs, regulatory standards, and food safety requirements
