Maintenance and repair of all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical or electronic systems of Conventional and Automatic Casting Machines, Robots and CNC other Automated Machinery within production environment.
Key Tasks- Correct deficiencies of Automatic Casting Machines, supporting robots and die casting machinery, and CNC machines appropriately and independently, taking due account of all safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems on production equipment.
- Develop and carry out preventative maintenance and any resulting repairs independently on plant equipment and machinery.
- Carry out electrical installations such as machine connections, lighting fixtures and socket installations.
- Carry out modifications and extensions on plant and machinery and draw up switching plans for documentation purposes.
- Inspect installations according to applicable equipment inspection regulations and accident prevention regulations at specified intervals.
- Procure spare parts from the tool crib or warehouse, considering inventory control and materials management requirements.
- Identify Environmental Aspects for the department and support EMP goals and targets through training, engagement and communication.
While performing the duties, the employee must comply with all safety regulations and proper operating procedures, utilizing required safety equipment at all times. Employees are obligated to leave the workplace clean and orderly, and must collaborate during break transitions to inform the succeeding operator of activities performed during the shift. Educationand Professional Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Technical Training (2 years) or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Diverse specialist training courses in Machining Technology.
- Knowledge of multiple control systems (e.g., PLC controls, Siemens).
- Ability to gain knowledge of programming, troubleshooting and maintenance of Kuka and applicable robots, die casting machines.
- Flexible shift work.
