Additional Overtime Available As Business Needs Increase
Compensation: $19-20 per hour
Will be required to do a basic weld test during interview. (T-joint Horizontal Weld & Butt Joint Pipe Weld)*
Purpose of RoleOur Welders are responsible for Mig welding, using spray arc transfer processes to weld pipes, cyclones, and other applications.
Essential Job Functions- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
- Inspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
- Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers.
- Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.
- Weld components in flat and vertical welding positions.
- Examines finished work pieces to verify conformance with specifications.
- Operate and maintain robotic welding equipment.
- Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as needed.
- Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- Follow instructions and/or direction given by supervisors to complete assigned work projects.

- Proven experience Mig Welding with Spray Arc Transfer or Short Arc transfer Welding.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Ability to proactively troubleshoot problems.
- Fabricating experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Work as a team within department and with other departments and Leads.
- Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with the company policies.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products.
- Must be able to stand, sit and bend in a normal welding shop.
- Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand.
- Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
