Role Description

The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in East Tennessee, TN. This role oversees daily production operations on the second shift, ensuring that production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. The supervisor leads and coaches production team members, assigns tasks, monitors performance, and supports skill development. Responsibilities include coordinating production planning, managing workflows, resolving operational issues, and maintaining accurate documentation.

The role also collaborates with cross-functional teams, reinforces food safety and workplace safety practices, and drives continuous improvement initiatives in the production environment.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance management, and coaching.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Production Schedules and Production Planning to organize, prioritize, and coordinate daily manufacturing activities.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with team members, peers, and management across shifts.
  • Candidates should possess Production Management skills to oversee processes, monitor productivity, and support quality and safety standards.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or a related production environment is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of food safety, workplace safety, and quality assurance practices is preferred.
  • Ability to work 2nd shift hours and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or training in operations, manufacturing, or related fields is a plus.
