Job Overview
Production Operation operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up, adjust, and perform maintenance on machines. Check's work using prescribed gauges, jigs, and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm (overtime per business needs, sometimes weekends).
Responsibilities- Follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in a production setting with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Performs housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment including complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
- Performs other duties and/or participates in projects as assigned by manager or other management team member.
- Runs process to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Knows production targets / goals and drives operation to achieve or exceed goals.
We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
- Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus.
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
- Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area.
- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications.
- Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution.
- Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
- Adheres to all quality guidelines.
- Works under moderate degree of supervision.
- Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor.
- Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor.
