Job SummaryThe Site Manager will lead a production team and manage all aspects of a fast‑paced Dry Mix concrete manufacturing facility. Daily duties include monitoring key metrics, budgets, safety, production flow, and material costs. The Site Manager has responsibility and accountability for bottom line results.
Job LocationThis is an onsite position located at our Franklin, TN plant.
Job Responsibilities- Plan and schedule production activities and supervise the production process.
- Oversee maintenance of all equipment, manage downtime, and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
- Control inventory, perform counts and audits.
- Commit to health, safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, maintenance, and environmental compliance.
- Estimate production costs, maintain high quality standards, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
- Maximize utilization of transportation and logistics.
- Collaborate with suppliers, sales, and customers to execute organizational policies and goals.
- Ensure compliance with SOX rules and regulations.
- Meet expected financial returns for the business.
- Adhere to all local and federal environmental regulations.
- Perform other temporary or permanent duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent of ten years of progressive related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is a plus.
- Experience in planning, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Prior P&L experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain a team atmosphere.
- Solid computer skills and written/oral communication.
