EHS Manager

A. O. Smith is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs at our manufacturing facility. In this performance-driven, safety-focused culture, you will develop and implement EHS policies, ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, oversee audits and incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance. You will partner with engineering and operations to reduce risk, manage training and reporting, and support global EHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, health, and safety programs for a manufacturing facility
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and drive corrective actions
• Coordinate and deliver EHS training for employees and leaders
• Track and report EHS metrics and performance trends
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to reduce hazards
• Manage waste, emissions, and environmental reporting
• Drive continuous improvement in safety culture and performance
