Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift Smyrna, TN | $19.00/hr | Temp-to-Perm

TAPP Workforce Solutions is hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join a major automotive logistics operation in Smyrna, TN. This is an opportunity to work behind the scenes of one of the area's largest manufacturing operations, keeping parts and materials moving safely and efficiently to support a high-volume production environment. • $19.00/hour starting pay with a temp-to-perm opportunity
• Monday–Friday 2nd shift with consistent hours
• Work inside a major Smyrna-area automotive operation supporting a fast-paced production environment

• Operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts and/or reach trucks to move, stage, and transport automotive parts and materials throughout the facility
• Load and unload trailers and containers safely and efficiently
• Pull and deliver parts to designated line-side and warehouse locations
• Keep production moving by ensuring materials arrive where they are needed, when they are needed
• Complete pre-shift forklift inspections and required documentation
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure materials are properly labeled and stored
• Safely operate equipment in a busy warehouse and production-support environment
• Follow all required safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site policies

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Sit-down counterbalance experience required;
  reach truck experience is a plus
• Current forklift certification or ability to complete on-site certification
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for the duration of the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality — this position directly supports an active production operation
• Automotive, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred

• Pay: $19.00/hour
