Grace Works Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving families in need in Williamson County, Tennessee. Committed to providing both immediate and long-term resources, Grace Works offers financial assistance with rent, utilities, medications, and gasoline, as well as material support like food, clothing, and furniture. The Grace Works Thrift Store generates significant financial support for the ministry, alongside contributions from community partners such as churches, businesses, schools, and civic groups.

The organization relies on hundreds of dedicated volunteers to fulfill its mission, particularly during special programs like the holiday season or food drives. Guided by faith and a passionate commitment to service, Grace Works plays a critical role in uplifting its community.

Role Description

As a full-time Donations Coordinator at Grace Works Ministries, you will oversee and manage the process of accepting, organizing, and tracking donations for the organization. Your daily tasks will include coordinating donation drop-offs, maintaining efficient inventory systems, assisting donors with their contributions, and collaborating with staff and volunteers to support donation activities. You will also engage with donors to express gratitude, ensure a positive experience, and encourage ongoing support.

This is a hybrid role based in Chattanooga, TN, with flexibility to work remotely on occasion.

Qualifications
  • Experience in donation coordination, inventory management, and logistics
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various donation processes efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for donor engagement and collaboration with volunteers
  • Proficiency in basic computer software for maintaining records and donation tracking
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with nonprofit operations and fundraising is a plus
  • Understanding and commitment to the mission of Grace Works Ministries
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or experience in a related field is preferred
