Role: Resource Float Medical Surgical/Acute Care Nurse
ResponsibilitiesProvide and coordinate patient care, including assessments, developing care plans, medication administration, documentation, and patient education. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver physical and psychological support. Perform patient rounding to enhance satisfaction and quality standards, demonstrate technical skills, and promote customer service initiatives.
QualificationsMinimum 1 year med/surg experience, graduate of an accredited nursing school, current licensure, and BLS certification. Obtain Med-Surg certification within 1 year of hire.
SkillsStrong assessment, communication, and technical skills; ability to work collaboratively; knowledge of human development and treatment across age groups.
Key DutiesAssess patients, implement individualized care, ensure proper equipment use, and communicate patient needs effectively.
