Students interested in the restaurant/hospitality industry will gain valuable, hands on experience in all aspects of restaurant/hospitality management in a high volume, fast‑casual restaurant working 35-45 hours per week. During your 14‑week internship you will learn and work in the following areas:
- Smoking ribs, chicken, barbeque and wings on the pit
- Kitchen operations & food prep
- Inventory management
- Customer relations
- Accounting
- Scheduling and deployment of employees
- Interviewing and hiring process
- Front and back of house operations
- Marketing through social media
- Health department rules and regulations
