Job Summary
Stocking associates are focused on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. They spend the majority of their time in the backroom. Stocking associates must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be necessary.
Responsibilities- Unload trucks and move inventory in the backroom.
- Stock shelves and ensure aisles are neat and clean.
- Assist customers while stocking shelves and answer their questions.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts (if applicable).
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards.
- Engage vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to operate a forklift and other heavy machinery (if applicable).
- Strong work ethic, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Engage vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Greet customers and answer their questions.
