Retail Sales Floor - Springs Market Rack

You  ensure a quick and easy customer experience and keep the store clean and clutter-free. Flexibility is key, as you may work in different areas of the store to maintain cleanliness of the floor and stockrooms and help customers find great deals.

Roles are available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment departments.

• Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays  runway ready , and is sized and filled through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers at checkout with transactions across in-store, online and mobile platforms, operating a point-of-sale system, bagging items, and handling bulky or heavy items while ensuring a seamless and friendly experience.
• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting/returning clothing to the floor.
• Maintain a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor.
• Keep stockrooms organized, ensuring merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise and asset protection standards.
• Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program.

• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing, and shipping standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, e.g., set up special events, organize backroom, mark downs, and relocate store fixtures.

• Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountability, initiative and a high level of ownership.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Stock and Fulfillment roles: frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state-specific laws. Pay ranges may differ by location. Pay offers depend on location, knowledge, skills and experience.

$19.00 - $19.80 Hourly
