Position: Drayage Sales.

Drayage Sales

Direct Traffic Solutions is seeking a Drayage Sales to lead and scale our drayage division, driving operational excellence and delivering world‑class service across our logistics network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing, distributed operations team.
  • Oversee drayage operations, ensuring on‑time delivery, cost efficiency, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Drive business development and revenue growth within the drayage segment.
  • Build and manage relationships with key clients, ports, carriers, and freight partners
    .
  • Lead pricing strategy,
    rate negotiations
    , and capacity planning to maximize margins.
  • Oversee drayage operations to ensure on‑time delivery, service quality, and customer satisfaction
    .
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand the company’s drayage footprint.
  • Monitor KPIs, pipeline performance, and profitability metrics.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align customer acquisition and execution
    .
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong background in drayage sales, carrier sales, or logistics business development
    .
  • Proven track record in revenue generation and client relationship management
    .
  • Experience negotiating rates and managing carrier networks.
  • Operational knowledge of ports, containers, and drayage logistics
    .
  • Strategic mindset with ability to scale operations and sales simultaneously.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in drayage, logistics sales, or operations leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑driven environment
