The Inside Account Manager (IAM) is responsible for managing and growing a defined portfolio of customer accounts. Based in our Franklin office, this position is part of a centralized inside sales team and plays a key role in proactive account management, cross‑selling, and executing a disciplined, CRM‑driven sales strategy.
Account Management & Growth- Own and manage a high-volume portfolio of customer accounts
- Ensure consistent purchasing activity and identify growth opportunities
- Drive increased share of wallet across product lines
- Position Novvia as the customer’s primary and preferred supplier
- Maintain regular outreach across all assigned accounts (minimum quarterly touchpoints)
- Execute a structured call cadence based on account size and opportunity
- Serve as the main point of contact and trusted partner for customers
- Identify and execute cross‑selling opportunities across business units
- Support assigned operating companies, with the ability to expand across the full portfolio
- Partner with field sales and internal teams to grow and strengthen relationships
- Accurately document all interactions, activities, and opportunities in CRM
- Maintain up-to-date account notes and contact records
- Use data to prioritize outreach and drive performance
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Finance)
- Assist with quoting, order follow-up, and account‑related needs
- High School Diploma + 2–3 years of relevant experience in account management, inside sales, or customer‑facing roles
- or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Experience managing a high‑volume book of business
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to maintain high-volume outreach with consistency
- Experience using CRM systems
- Customer‑focused with strong ownership and accountability
- Experience in packaging, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial sales
- Exposure to multi‑product or multi‑business environments
- Experience with cross‑selling or portfolio‑based sales
