This role provides strategic leadership for advisor development, sales culture, business growth initiatives, and advisor engagement while ensuring alignment between advisors and firm leadership.
The Head of Sales leads the Advisor Development team, including Advisor Success Managers, Practice Managers, and Investment Specialists, and is accountable for building scalable programs, resources, and processes that support advisor success across all phases of development. This role serves as a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for fostering a high-performance culture that drives organic growth, advisor satisfaction, and long-term firm success.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Advisor Development
- Provide Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA) for the Advisor Development organization.
- Build and maintain a strong, motivated sales culture that supports advisor retention and firm-wide growth objectives.
- Lead advisor development initiatives, mentorship programs, training, coaching, and performance management efforts.
- Develop leaders within the Advisor Development team and ensure advisors receive appropriate support based on their phase of growth.
- Establish and oversee the firm's advisor growth and practice management strategy.
- Drive advisor success initiatives focused on organic growth, business development, scalability, and long-term advisor success.
- Monitor advisor performance trends and identify opportunities to improve advisor outcomes across the firm.
- Partner with Marketing to maximize lead generation effectiveness and marketing ROI.
- Oversee advisor-facing growth initiatives, sponsor ships, referral programs, and strategic partnerships.
- Provide strategic leadership for advisor retreats, summits, incentive trips, and development events.
- Serve as the primary conduit between firm leadership and advisors.
- Ensure advisors receive timely communication regarding firm initiatives and strategic priorities.
- Gather advisor feedback and communicate field insights to leadership to improve organizational alignment and advisor experience.
- Oversee advisor-facing investment resources, including strategic relationships with key partners such as Dynasty Financial Partners.
- Provide leadership for Investment Specialists and related advisor support resources.
- Own sales management reporting, advisor development analytics, and key performance metrics.
- Manage advisor development vendors, sponsors, and strategic partner relationships.

- 10+ years of leadership experience within wealth management, an independent RIA, or advisor development environment.
- Proven success leading sales, advisor development, practice management, or business growth initiatives.
- Strong understanding of advisor business models, organic growth strategies, and practice management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Bachelor's degree, Series 65 or equivalent licensing, CFP required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Strong work ethic and a quick learner
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, growing firm
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
- Able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with others.
- Able to work on-site in Franklin, TN
- Ability to work in a traditional professional office setting
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Advanced computer skills and ability to effectively operate computer equipment, software systems and databases
