The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cordova TN (Memphis
-Shelby County, TN.) In this position, the Sales Specialist engages directly with customers on the sales floor, actively listening to their needs, presenting product options, and guiding them through purchase decisions. Daily responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, explaining product features and benefits, handling sales transactions, and maintaining store visual standards. The role also involves meeting or exceeding sales goals, participating in training and product knowledge sessions, and supporting team members with client follow-up and special orders.

The Sales Specialist contributes to a welcoming store environment and represents Jared’s brand values in every customer interaction.

• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction, active listening, and professional written communication.
• Demonstrated Customer Service abilities, with a focus on hospitality, conflict resolution, and creating positive customer experiences.
• Proven Sales skills, including consultative selling, upselling, and working toward individual and team sales targets.
• Experience with Training or coaching, such as sharing product knowledge and supporting peers in learning sales techniques.
• Exposure to Sales Management concepts, including understanding store goals, monitoring performance metrics, and contributing to sales initiatives.
• Ability to work on-site, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a retail environment.
• Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and inventory processes.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or jewelry sales experience is beneficial but not required.
• Commitment to ethical selling practices and adherence to company policies and procedures.
