The Inside Sales Associate is a member of our Call Center team responsible for answering inbound customer calls, understanding their needs, and recommending the right United products and services. This role also includes outbound prospecting, upgrading existing customer services, and helping customers adapt to their evolving technology needs.

This is a direct-hire, full-time, on-site position based at our Franklin, TN, location. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a rotating Saturday shift every fifth week.

Please note that as we continue to expand our business, the normal hours of operation and shifts could change based on the needs of the business. Our current hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and Saturday 9:0 AM to 2:00 PM. Ability to work overtime if necessary.

Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.

• Effectively respond to inbound calls and close sales with a high percentage of residential prospects.
• Input orders into our ordering and billing systems.
• Complete all required paperwork and miscellaneous reports.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the company’s services, lines of business, pricing structures, and promotional offers to identify additional sales opportunities for existing customers.
• Utilize the CRM daily to schedule and document activities for new opportunities.
• Meet the Standards of Performance associated with the role.
• Achieve or exceed monthly unit attainment quotas.
• Track orders to ensure an excellent customer experience from sale through installation.
• Generate new revenue by making outbound calls to B2C prospects within existing service areas.
• Support local community events 4–6 times per year by representing United at the event booth.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales, a contact center, retail sales, or a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to meet sales goals.
• Strong listening and questioning skills to understand customers’ internet needs and recommend appropriate services.
• Confidence asking for the sale, addressing objections, and following up with interested customers without being overly aggressive.
• Commitment to delivering a friendly, helpful local customer experience, including when assisting frustrated or uncertain callers.
• Excellent attention to detail when checking service availability, explaining pricing and promotions, entering customer information, and submitting complete and accurate orders.
• Ability to handle calls while navigating multiple computer systems and accurately documenting customer interactions.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain internet and Wi‑Fi options in everyday language.
