Humbug Lighting completed our first full season in 2025 with tremendous success — and 2026 is about growth.
We are expanding beyond holiday lighting into a full-service permanent, landscape, and event lighting company, and we’re looking for a proven Lead Technician to grow with us.
This is a year-round leadership opportunity that begins part-time and ramps to full-time in 2026, with a clear path to Territory Operations Manager for the right person.
IMPORTANT — READ FIRSTThis role REQUIRES prior professional experience working on multi‑story roofs.
We are not looking for candidates who think they’re comfortable on roofs or ladders.

- Worked professionally on multi‑story residential or commercial roofs
- Regularly used extension ladders and followed ladder safety protocols
- A working understanding of roof safety, pitch, footing, and situational awareness
- Remained productive and calm at height — as part of a job, not a hobby
If you do not have real, on‑the‑job roof experience, this role will not be a fit.
