Irrigation Technician II

Position Summary

If you have a background in irrigation and take pride in solving problems in the field, this is a strong opportunity to put your experience to work.

• Independently install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation components, including valves, wiring, sprinkler heads, controllers, pumps, and water lines.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on irrigation equipment and systems.
• Assess irrigation performance and make adjustments to improve water efficiency and coverage.
• Assist with irrigation system design, layout planning, and installation preparation.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot outdoor lighting systems.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist with training and supporting Irrigation Technician I team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 1 year of irrigation experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Working knowledge of irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve irrigation system issues with limited supervision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Driver's License issued by a U.S. State or Territory and an acceptable driving record.
• Irrigation certifications are a plus.

• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to the Franklin location (transportation to job sites is provided).

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 15–50 lbs. frequently and up to 90 lbs. occasionally.
