Position: Maintenance Technician II (48248)

Position Summary

As a residential Maintenance Technician at Carrington Park at Gulf Pointe, Houston, TX, you will perform ongoing facility maintenance and repairs to keep the multifamily property operating and appearing at its best. The role requires a full‑time commitment with occasional on‑call hours and covers all maintenance needs, including light carpentry, minor electrical or plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and general cleanliness of resident amenities such as the pool and clubhouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address work orders promptly to prevent escalation of maintenance issues.
  • Perform light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
  • Maintain the general cleanliness and upkeep of the property and resident amenities.
  • Engage residents courteously and professionally while ensuring safety.
  • Maintain a personal toolkit and, when required, use company‑owned or personal vehicles to complete tasks.
  • Adhere to safety‑first practices and assist in creating a safe working and living environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in property management or hospitality.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in HVAC, EPA, CPO, Plumbing, Electrical preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company‑owned or personal vehicle.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and own necessary tools.
  • Strong oral and written communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work.
