Job Summary

Mechanic

This mechanic/technician role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostic work and repairs on equipment in the safest and most effective manner to avoid downtime.

Fleet:
Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, equipment; specialty lines such as large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, oil & gas equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and conduct repairs.
• Work safely and efficiently to reduce downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols in a fast‑paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy equipment, or specialty lines (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas). Preference for strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and provide own mechanic tools if needed.
• Flexible with changing priorities; bilingual Spanish or other language may be required.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more; work indoors or outdoors as required.
