This position is empowered by the Maintenance Supervisor to build and maintain a collaborative work environment while consistently delivering the highest quality of customer service.

• Responsible for light maintenance such as trashing vacant apartments and removing carpet
• Responsible for light landscaping duties (weeding, watering, planting flowers)
• Routinely inspects and maintains buildings and property to ensure the appearance of the community is consistent with company standards and applicable laws
• Assist Maintenance staff in ensuring Make Ready Units are consistent with basic principles of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, appliances, keys, and locks
• Snow removal when needed
• Provides high quality customer service according to GCI’s customer service principles to maximize resident retention

• General Maintenance experience/knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical preferred
• Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Demonstrate thoroughness, self‑motivation, and organization when accomplishing tasks
• Ability to work a non‑traditional schedule including evenings, weekends, and on‑call hours as needed

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License Required
