Position Objective: The Electrical Technician is responsible for electrical, electronics, and maintenance of all equipment. Performs other duties as needed.

• Industrial maintenance degree or similar from a state certified technical school or community college is required. Completion of a 4‑year electrical apprenticeship can be substituted.
• Knowledge of basic industrial electrical components – relays, timers, contractors, proximity switches, etc.
• Ability to read multimeters and amp meters.
• Background in industrial electronics and troubleshooting is required.
• Experience with PLC controls and variable speed drives is preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and on‑call as needed.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Skill to read blueprints and mechanical drawings is a plus.
• Can work with limited supervision (e.g., night shift).
• Consistent, dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non‑standard work hours.
• Capable of effectively managing job‑related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

• Troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of basic electrical/electronic equipment including motor start‑stop circuits and 24V‑700V electrical circuits.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Assist Parts Coordinator in requisition and inventory of tools, spare parts, and equipment.
• Assist Maintenance technician in lubrication and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Maintain all equipment in good running order.
• Ensure job site is clean and free of hazards.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices when running equipment.
• Interact and communicate with Production supervisor during shift and assist on production line when needed.
• Maintain professional certifications and keep updated on procedures and policy changes; keep training up to date.
• Operate all maintenance equipment safely, following LOTO procedures at all times.
