Job Title: Maintenance Technician III
Job DescriptionEntegris is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician III for our Decatur, TX facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks and assignments including the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure. A key focus will be on equipment reliability, safety, troubleshooting, and process improvement projects.
What You’ll Do- Repair blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical components such as contractors, switches, relays, and controllers.
- Walk the production line daily and look for abnormalities in the equipment.
- Troubleshoot production issues with support from the maintenance team and/or engineering.
- Support the installation of new equipment, retrofitting of old equipment, and facility capital projects to improve the manufacturing process.
- Educate operators to improve day‑to‑day machine operations and update documents if needed.
- Order parts and build material lists to complete upcoming projects.
- Work as a team or independently as tasks require.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area, wear required personal protective equipment, and observe approved safety procedures.
- Be exposed to outdoor working conditions and dusty or dirty environments.
- Occasionally be on‑call for a full week, including weekends and nights as part of the team rotation.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
- Experience working on large industrial equipment such as high‑temperature furnaces, rotary piston vacuum pumps, powder transfer systems, etc.
- Electrical component knowledge to troubleshoot motor starters, relays, pressure switches, temperature controllers, etc.
- Ability to read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Basic welding knowledge preferred.
- Candidate must be a permanent resident of the U.S. to comply with export control laws.
- Willing to adapt to changing responsibilities based on production priorities.
- Able to identify areas to improve or create preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures.
- Experience in an ISO 9001/14001/45001 and AS9100 environment is a plus.
- Able to climb stairs and ladders, and safely lift 50 lbs.
- Able to pass pre‑employment physical.
- Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
- Some flexibility in working schedule due to projects, breakdown situations, etc.
