BG Staffing is currently seeking a Apartment Maintenance Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Franklin, TN 37064.
Location:
Franklin, TN 37064
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary
BG Staffing is looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day property maintenance operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
The right candidate will help ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained while delivering excellent service to residents and staff.
Responsibilities
* Complete maintenance service requests and work orders promptly.
* Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
* Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
* Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance concerns.
* Assist with apartment turns, including repairs, painting touch-ups, and unit preparation.
* Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment as needed.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
* Keep accurate records of completed work and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
* Previous maintenance experience in apartment, residential, commercial, or multifamily settings preferred.
* Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* HVAC certification is a plus.
* Reliable transportation preferred.
