Construction Electrical Apprentice

Job Overview

Helpers assist the Electrical staff with planning, diagramming, and implementing electrical systems at construction sites. Tasks include operating hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches with shovels, setting braces to support excavation sides, climbing and working on ladders, and cleaning up debris and other waste materials.

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work; experience with electrical work is a plus.

• Working knowledge of an electrical system in a new construction setting.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders.
