HeavyTruck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team. The Heavy Truck Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and related equipment. This position requires technical expertise, attention to safety, and commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on heavy trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using specialized tools and equipment.
• Perform engine, transmission, suspension, and brake repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Test vehicle systems and components to ensure proper function and safety standards.
• Document work completed and maintain accurate service records.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to identify and resolve complex mechanical problems.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and company policies at all times.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Provide technical guidance and support to apprentice mechanics as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy truck maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulic components.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools efficiently.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
• Must have own tools.

• Vocational or technical certification in heavy truck or diesel mechanics.
• ASE certifications relevant to heavy trucks.
• Experience with fleet maintenance or commercial vehicle repair.
• Class A or B commercial driver’s license (CDL).
