Job Summary
The dump truck driver is vital to the continuation of operations. The Dump Truck Driver feeds the construction crews and customers with various supplies needed for current projects. This position involves operating a heavy-duty dump truck to haul aggregates, dirt, asphalt, and other materials, while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining the quality of service. The successful Dump Truck Driver is organized, tech-savvy, efficient and constantly strives for excellence.
Job Duties- Safely operate dump truck, including GPS and computerized equipment within the truck
- Preform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain delivery schedule and strive for on-time deliveries.
- Keep truck clean and well maintained on an ongoing basis.
- Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
- Troubleshoot issues as needed.

Job Requirements- Ability to vertical climb steps / ladders
- Chisel dried asphalt out of bed when needed
- Kneel down / bend over to conduct proper pre-trip and post- trip inspections
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Maintain balance walking on uneven surfaces
- Occasional lift or pull up to 50lbs.
- Have a driving record that meets both Summers-Taylor and FMCSA standards.
- Comply with work references and criminal background check.
- 5+ years constriction experience preferred.
- Must comply with continuing education requirements.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
