Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Cost Analyst
. This role is based in our Franklin, TN manufacturing facility.
- Teaming
- Must be collaborative and work with Plant and Department Managers
- Miscellaneous ad‑hoc reporting as requested from all finance leadership
- Plant Strategy
- Calculate daily CPUs and efficiency reports to help drive improvements in key cost and production areas
- Develop weekly trending variance analysis to see performance versus standard
- Work with engineering to develop easy‑to‑read daily plant dashboard that covers all areas including cost, production, shipping, efficiency, and safety
- Forecasting and Budgeting
- Lead yearly AOP and periodic forecast updates for all labor and overhead expenses in the plant
- Collaborate with department managers to develop budgets around headcount, supplies, maintenance and more
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and general plant performance reports with comparative view to AOP and forecasts
- Cost Accounting and Reporting
- Lead yearly Standard Cost Roll for all manufactured items in Franklin, TN by updating BOMs and routings with alignment to yearly AOP
- Maintain accurate, fully costed BOMs for all WIP and FG inventory throughout the year
- Month End
- Prepare monthly JE’s in a timely manner
- Analyze month end results with comparative view to AOP and forecasts and explain variances
- Prepare account reconciliations for plant related accrual accounts
- Inventory
- Maintain accurate perpetual inventory balances for all Tennessee locations, including main plant, warehouse, and any outside warehouse as applicable
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct annual physical inventory for Tennessee facilities
- Develop, improve and implement process and controls for
- All areas above
- Regular cycle counts in the manufacturing facility
- 4+ years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 1 year in manufacturing
- Must have a proactive and solid follow‑up approach
- Experience documenting process and controls
- Strong MS Office skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in consumer products manufacturing (preferred)
- ERP experience – QAD preferred
