Full Time position performing

TELLER WINDOW

• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amount, and examine checks for endorsements.
• Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and member balances.
• Enter members’ transactions into computer to record transactions, and issue computer generated receipts.
• Place a hold on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Order daily supply of cash and count incoming cash.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compare totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
• Explain, promote, or sell products or services such as travel money cards, gift cards, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier’s checks.
• Open new accounts.
• Remove deposits from, and count and balance cash in night depository. Accept utility bills and loan payments.
• File account documents in appropriate account or loan files in good order.
• Perform backup functions for other positions within the branch office as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
