Scheduling Specialist

Mercy Community Healthcare is looking for an energetic, self-motivated Scheduling Specialist, with a passion for making a difference in the lives of those we serve in our community.

What Is This Job All About?

You will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments.

General clerical duties such as answering multi-line phone system, managing waitlist, and sending notification letters.

Greeting patients and entering appointments into the EMR system.

Making sure patients fill out necessary forms.

What We Need from You:

High School Diploma or GED required.
1-2 years' experience in a healthcare business office preferred.

Demonstrated ability to use MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Spanish-speaking highly preferred.

Excellent communication both on the phone and in person.

Provide outstanding customer service to meet the needs of patients.

Experience with EMR operating system (eCW highly preferred).Familiarity with medical terminology and shorthand.
