Lathe Automation Machinist - 1st Shift

• Set up and operate standard CNC lathes.
• Read and understand blueprints and GD&T.
• Use measuring equipment from hand tools to CMM and optical comparators.
• Read and understand G and M code.
• Perform simple program edits as needed.
• Set up complex jobs using work instructions or guides, working under limited supervision.

• CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3.
• Experience with Okuma machines and Fanuc and Okuma controls.
• Ability to set up and operate standard CNC lathes.
• Fluency in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficiency with measuring equipment, including CMM and optical comparators.
• Understanding of G and M code.
• Ability to perform simple program edits.
