Telemetry Registered Nurse - Franklin, Virginia

Seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse with experience in Telemetry for a dynamic contract opportunity. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise and a commitment to exceptional patient care within a fast-paced telemetry unit. The successful candidate will play a vital role in monitoring and supporting patients who require continuous cardiac observation while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract position
• Shifts determined by facility needs (details will be provided during the interview process)

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Recent experience in a Telemetry or similar monitored setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythms
• Proficient in patient assessment, clinical documentation, and electronic health records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and document patient cardiac rhythms and overall condition
• Respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to provide holistic patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and care transitions
• Adhere to established protocols, infection control standards, and safety measures
