We're hiring a Controller to oversee our accounting and finance function at our Franklin, WI facility.

This position is responsible for complete accounting and finance department oversight at Nopak.
Responsibilities:
Description of Tasks and Responsibilities:
- · Perform month end closing activities including bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, accruals and prepaid expense adjustments
- · Perform regular review of purchase variance accounts and work with materials team to set appropriate standard costs
- · Annual inventory costing calculations, update inventory values to reflect revised standard costs
- · Oversee daily tasks with staff accountant such as depositing checks remotely, recording receipts in accounting system and tying vendor invoices received to inventory receipts
- · Weekly tasks such as running payroll, following up on past due A/R and completing weekly vendor payments via check and ACH
- · Document accounting and admin processes and maintain current approved versions
- · Provide oversight and quality control in cycle count program owned by Warehouse Supervisor
- · Monthly analysis of financials including margin, SG&A, sales by customer and price variances on materials as well as input on cash projections
- · Prepare 13-week cash flow projections on a biweekly basis
- · Prepare monthly financial report to send to board and shareholders with completed financials
- · Prepare company budgets and quarterly year end forecast updates with assistance from Ops, Sales, and Fractional CFO
- · Prepare first draft of quarterly board reporting PowerPoint deck for review with Fractional CFO
- · Assist with IT resource management including managed service provider (MSP) and ERP consulting firm
- · Assist with ad hoc responsibilities such as report creation and analysis for sales and operations teams
- · Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by other members of the company leadership team
Minimum Qualifications:
- · Minimum 2 years' in an oversight role in an accounting department performing account reconciliations and working with others on a team
- · Bachelor's degree in accounting
- · Self-motivated and driven
- · Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, employees and management
- · Ability to use a personal computer and word processing, spreadsheet, and accounting software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- · Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP/Accounting Package
