Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Tax Manager that specializes in tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have 7+ years of related experience. Additionally, they will provide expert tax guidance, ensure compliance, maintain existing client relationships and build new ones. • Prepare and review individual, business and other related tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and projections as requested by clients.
• Advise clients on strategies for tax savings and their tax liabilities.
• Conduct tax research to stay informed about changing tax laws and regulations.
• Assess tax return changes and resolve amendments.
• Assist staff accountants on tax-related matters.
• Oversee staff who help with tax preparation.
• Maintain client and staff relationships.
• Answer emails and phone calls from clients in a timely manner.

• 7+ Years experience in individual and business tax preparation.
• Ability to obtain a valid PTIN is required.
• Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office products and Quick Books.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters Suite a plus.
